A multi-family building boiler was not producing steam due to cold make-up water. Through the installation of boiler monitoring and controls, the customer detected issues pertaining to boiler run-time. At same time, boiler make up water meter showed significant water consumption. Investigation found a large pipe leak behind a wall. The pipe repair resolved the problem.
Solution: Monitor and alert boiler run time and boiler make-up water flow.
